1. Licence
the Lyzard Connect product rightsholder operating under the Lyzard Works brand grants you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and use Lyzard Connect on devices you own or lawfully use, for lawful purposes and subject to this EULA.
2. Ownership
The software is licensed, not sold. No exclusive rights in source code, design, logos or documentation are transferred except where a third-party licence expressly provides otherwise.
3. Restrictions
You may not bypass security measures, use the software for attacks or unauthorised access, distribute modified builds as official builds, or remove rights notices. Statutory interoperability rights remain unaffected.
4. Updates
Connect may check for updates. Critical releases may be required for continued compatibility or security.
5. Third-party components
Third-party components remain subject to their own licences, which control for those components.
6. Data and networking
Data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy. A direct-first architecture does not mean that all server infrastructure disappears: the website, update service and coordinator each have separate functions. The main session traffic is designed for a direct device-to-device connection; if the network cannot establish that route, the session or individual features may be unavailable.
7. Termination
The licence may terminate following a material breach where permitted by law.
8. Mandatory rights
This EULA does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded by contract.
